As the Production Chemist in our Bio-Rad Fort Worth, TX site, you will be responsible for bulk formulating products of high complexity including custom recipes in accordance with approved written procedures and policies. You will participate in the training and development of new products and participate in/lead continuous improvement projects. You will troubleshoot manufacturing issues and perform/lead Root Cause Investigations. You will provide Quality Notifications and implement Corrective Actions.

What You Bring:



  • Bachelor's degree in a life science or related field
  • 0-3 years working in a general manufacturing environment formulating products in the areas of biological sciences, life sciences, or an equivalent.
  • Able to follow detailed procedures and have good documentation skills. Understanding of Good Manufacturing Practices and Good Laboratory Practices.
  • Basic working knowledge of laboratory environments, materials, and equipment.
  • Chemistry- Knowledge of the chemical composition, structure, and properties of substance and the chemical processes and transformation that they undergo.
  • Biology- Knowledge of biology, interdependencies, and interactions with each other and their environment.


Compensation: The estimated hourly range for this position is $24.71 to $34.00 per hour at the time of posting. Actual compensation will be provided in writing at the time of offer, if applicable, and is based on several factors we believe fairly and accurately impact compensation, including geographic location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, and other job permitted factors. As a temporary associate, your employment will be managed directly through our approved agency provider.
