DB Global Technology, Inc. seeks an Assistant Vice President in Cary, NC to build Cloud-native solutions in collaboration with architects, product managers, and stakeholders. Requires a Bachelor's Degree in Computer Engineering or related field or equivalent and five (5) years of progressively responsible experience working with Cloud Architect to ensure optimizations in Google Cloud Platform for enhanced performance; building Spark and Scala/Python ETL pipelines for Kubernetes with Apache Airflow and Spark; translating business rules from JSON and converting rule transformations in Scala/Python using spark-based framework; gathering business requirements to determine feasibility and converting them to technical tasks in design documents; participating in design reviews for the overall ETL framework automation and architecture; extracting data from Teradata into HDFS using Sqoop ingestion and Hive derived tables and synchronization; implementing infrastructure as code (IaC) using terraform to provision Cloud resources; leveraging Helm package manager to build, deploy, and manage Kubernetes applications; designing and implementing efficient and reliable GitHub Workflows and GitHub Actions; using YAML syntax to define complex workflow configurations; and in executing duties, utilizing Terraform, Cloud resources, Kubernetes, Docker, Spark, Hadoop (HDFS and Map-Reduce), and Python. Salary range: $154,877.00 - $165,000.00/year This position is eligible for Deutsche Bank's Employee Referral Incentive Program.
