JOB SUMMARY: We are seeking a motivated Power Apps Intern to assist with real-world process automation and reporting projects. This internship offers a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience with Microsoft's Power Platform tools, including Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI. The ideal candidate is a Junior, Senior, or Graduate student enrolled at Blinn, RELLIS, or Texas A&M University. Someone who is detail-oriented, eager to learn, and passionate about leveraging technology to improve business processes. Responsibilities: Assist in designing, developing, and deploying solutions using Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, and Power BI. Analyze business processes and recommend improvements to increase efficiency. Support the team in automating workflows and enhancing reporting capabilities. Collaborate with team members to streamline data management and reporting processes. Participate in process automation projects, applying AI tools such as AI Builder or Copilot (if applicable). Attend team meetings and contribute ideas to optimize current processes. Requirements Education & Experience Current Junior, Senior, or Graduate student enrolled at Blinn, RELLIS, or Texas A&M University. Pursuing a degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Computer Science or a related field. Technical Skills Basic experience or coursework in Microsoft Power Apps, Power Automate, or Power BI. Understanding of data structures, Excel, or SQL (a plus). Familiarity with AI tools like AI Builder or Copilot is a plus. Interest in automation, reporting, and business intelligence. Ability to analyze business processes and suggest practical improvements. Additional Skills: Strong problem-solving abilities and a willingness to learn. Good communication skills with the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment. Self-starter with the ability to manage time and tasks effectively. Commitment to confidentiality and responsible data handling Preferred Qualifications Experience with AI tools such as AI Builder or Copilot. Exposure to automation projects or coursework in business process improvement. Familiarity with Agile methodologies is a plus Learning Objectives By the end of this internship, the student will: Gain practical experience building solutions with Microsoft Power Platform (Power Apps, Power Automate, Power BI). Improve your skills in process automation, data analysis, and reporting. Develop a deeper understanding of business process optimization and business intelligence. Work on real-world projects that deliver measurable impact. Build experience collaborating on cross-functional teams and communicating technical ideas effectively.
