Description

Performs daily facilities maintenance, this includes but is not limited to maintaining lighting/electrical, HVAC, grounds and plumbing for all areas assigned.

Below is a list of essential job functions. Additional responsibilities may be assigned in the position.

PROVIDE ENHANCED SERVICE

Possesses and displays a positive attitude in managing change, working, and communicating with others and adhering to policies, procedures, and customer service standards.

  • Manage daily maintenance needs of the company
  • Maintains HVAC equipment
  • General electrical work
  • Performs facilities inspections to Insure safe working environment
  • Works with vendors to maintain facilities
  • Other duties as assigned

Requirements

QUALIFICATIONS, EDUCATION, & EXPERIENCE

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential job requirement satisfactorily and a skills inventory is listed below. A high school diploma or general education degree (GED) is required, with related experience and HVAC or electrical certification required. A background screening will be conducted.   • LANGUAGE SKILLS: Ability to read, comprehend, and interpret documents. Possesses professional communication and interpersonal skills to write and speak effectively both one-on-one and before groups of clients or employees of the organization. Ability to communicate to clients directly and effectively.
  • TECHNOLOGY SKILLS: Ability to use communication systems and possess good computer skills including email, internet, and intranet use.
  • MATHEMATICAL SKILLS: Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide in all units of measure. Ability to compute rate, ratio, and percent and to draw and interpret bar graphs.
  • REASONING ABILITY: Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out instructions furnished in written, oral, or diagram form. Ability to solve challenging problems involving several variables in a standardized situation.
  • PHYSICAL DEMANDS AND WORK ENVIRONMENT: The physical demands and work environment described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.

While performing the duties of this job, the employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; and talk or hear. The employee is occasionally required to sit; climb or balance; and stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close and distance vision, color vision, peripheral vision, depth perception, and ability to adjust focus. Employees may be required to travel.

The noise level in the work environment is usually moderate.
