Purpose of Job This position is responsible for the delivery, set-up and maintenance of durable medical equipment and supplies. Job functions Maintains warehouse stock, assuring proper storage of equipment and supplies. Maintains equipment repair log. Performs shipping and receiving duties. Deliver and pick up of equipment and supplies in a timely and professional manner, keeping customer informed of delivery/pick up time. Assesses that equipment /supplies are appropriate for the customer's needs and assess the home for any safety issues regarding equipment use and maintenance. Cleans, sanitizes, bags and tags equipment for storage. Performs routine equipment maintenance. Participate in On-call rotation. Performs other duties as assigned. Minimum Education/Work Experience High school diploma or equivalent Must be at least 21 years old in order to meet Ridgeview's insurability requirements Knowledge/Skills/Abilities Knowledge of durable medical products, equipment, and services Ability to meet and maintain the necessary background checks as aligned with position functions Knowledge of geographic service area Ability to relate easily and well with others, projecting a positive and mature attitude to customers Ability to communicate in the English language for effective written and verbal correspondence in order to complete job functions as mentioned above License /Certification Valid MN driver's license and meets Ridgeview's insurability requirements Preferred Qualifications Previous durable medical equipment experience Previous experience in warehouse setting Ability to effectively manage and prioritize responsibilities Compensation Many factors are taken into consideration when determining compensation such as: the requirements of the position, experience, education, knowledge, and skills along with location and internal equity. Pay listed does not include any shift, weekend, or other differentials.
