Program Coordinator, NCCTS Terrorism and Disaster Program

Description The Project and Policy Analyst 2 serves as the Program Coordinator for the Terrorism and Disaster Program at the National Center for Child Traumatic Stress
(NCCTS), the coordinating center for the National Child Traumatic Stress Network (NCTSN). In this role I will be responsible for supporting the Director
and Assistant Director of the Terrorism and Disaster Program to manage projects, coordinate activities, track timelines, assist in the creation of resources, and
ensure completion of program deliverables.
Examples of duties include:
  • Assisting in the staffing of disaster-response meetings and communications with NCTSN
    members and our partners.
  • Liaison responsibilities with the Product Development and Information Technology teams in support of Terrorism and Disaster Program
    goals, as well as with our different funders.
  • Assisting in fielding requests for trainings and resource
  • Managing logistics related to
    travel and training.
  • Compiling data for quarterly and event-specific reports
  • Tracking information, data, and deadlines on behalf of the entire T&D team.
*Please note that this contract position may convert to career.
Pay Range: $28.30 - $54.74 hourly
Qualifications
Required:
  • Proficient in communication and interpersonal skills to communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing.
  • Demonstrates ability to analyze, research and synthesize large amounts of data with strong attention to detail.
  • Ability to multitask with demanding timeframes.
  • Expertise in project management and using project management tools and applications.
  • Experience working with multi-disciplinary professionals and geographically dispersed, virtual teams.
  • Some knowledge of child trauma and disaster behavioral health.
  • BA degree in psychology, social work, or related field, or equivalent experience in a mental health related field
Preferred:
  • 2 - 3 years of experience
