• Continuously monitor cardiac patients using telemetry and other advanced monitoring systems, assess vital signs, ECGs, and report any changes in cardiac status to the healthcare team.
• Administer cardiac-related medications, including antiarrhythmics, anticoagulants, and vasopressors, while monitoring for side effects and ensuring accurate documentation of all administered treatments.
• Collaborate with interdisciplinary teams, including cardiologists, respiratory therapists, and physical therapists, to develop and implement comprehensive care plans tailored to individual patient needs.

Requirements:

• Diploma from an RN program.
• Current licensure in good standing to practice as a Registered Nurse in primary state. Must apply within 90 days for licensure in secondary state.
• Must possess and maintain current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Work may occasionally require travel to other UPH facilities.
