City Experiences is seeking a Vice President of Sales Development for our Sales operations.

About You:

This person will be adaptable, dynamic, and embody City Experiences' RESPECT Service System.

About the Opportunity:

Reporting to the SVP of Global Sales. The VP will oversee the sourcing, identifying, recruiting, and hiring of all sales personnel globally for Hornblower. In collaboration with all VPs in the sales group, this position will also perform all performance managing and training functions for both new hires and existing sales personnel. In addition, the VP will manage a team of sales associates consisting of new hires during a probationary period as well as current account managers placed into our remediation process as part of the performance management system.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:



  • Assist in the crafting and updating of our performance management system
  • Tracking and reporting of all sales performance of account managers and directors
  • Liaise with HR partners on the administration of all new hires and performance management related functions
  • Tracking, projecting, and reporting all staffing needs for global sales group
  • Oversee all recruiting functions for global sales including: sourcing, interviewing, and placement of candidates
  • Ownership of all training services both new hire and ongoing
  • Oversee the management, coaching, and performance of both probationary new hires and remediated account managers


Requirements & Qualifications:



  • 5+ years experience in sales management, training, and/or staffing
  • Executive communication experience
  • Travel, hospitality, or transportation experience preferred
  • Experience in multi-market recruiting
  • Demonstrated ability to successfully collaborate with and influence others without direct reporting lines
  • Strong ability to structure problems and resolve roadblocks
  • Must be comfortable with frequent travel
  • Demonstrated ability to quickly adapt to changing environment
