Harmonia Holdings Group, LLC,an award-winning federal government contractor, has an exciting opportunity for a Capture Manager to join our team. Candidates in the DC area are preferred, but we are willing to consider remote opportunity for the right candidate. As Capture Manager, you will be matrixed to work with Harmonia's Program Managers and Business Development team to develop as a living document a capture plan for key opportunities. A good capture requires an experienced business development professional who can leverage existing relationships and build new relationships with a focus on meeting customer's needs. If you are the ideal candidate, you will be able to:
- Find and analyze information to bring insights that place Harmonia more competitively to propose tailored and compelling solutions to complex client problems and constraints
- Lead win strategy development, win theme development, solutions development, teaming strategies, black hat competitive assessments, technical and management approaches, past performance and key personnel identification, pricing strategy recommendations (based on price to win and other competitive assessments), communications plans, action plans, and execution plans
- Take an active part in driving proposal writing and leadership of management and technical volumes
- Identify opportunities for efficiencies to include automated processes, tools, and data reuse across corporate capability offerings
- Be a key driver and contributor to drive Harmonia's long-term strategy
Minimum Required Qualifications:
- Experience using the Shipley Capture Workbook or similar systems to methodically accumulate capture information and generate new questions about the opportunity
- Experience identifying and analyzing customer hot button issues and working with our Program Managers to identify potential solutions that competitors or Harmonia may offer
- Identifying customer perceptions of Harmonia or its competitors
- Working with corporate leadership and Chief Technology Officer staff to market and socialize Harmonia's unique capabilities across its client base
- Experience using GovWin, LinkedIn, congressional budget justifications, and similar information sources on procurements, contracts, and players in the Federal acquisition space
- Develop a detailed written capture plan narrative document with supporting data that serves as input to proposal writers
- Perform numerical calculation of probability of win
- Prepare and lead milestone/gate and other reviews
- Required: a minimum of 4 years related experience
- Required for consideration at the Senior level: 8 years leading capture efforts across multiple opportunities and through various stages of the opportunity lifecycle for DoD and Civilian clients
Experience, Skills and Abilities:
- Certificate of Completion, Shipley "Capturing Federal Business" or equivalent Capture Manager training
- Lead and coordinate competitive assessments determining Harmonia's strengths and weaknesses and potential competitors
- Excellent oral and written communication skills
- Strong research skills to use Internet and conduct background research on opportunities of interest
- Ability to leverage existing relationships and build new relationships with a focus on meeting customer's needs
- Proficient in Microsoft Office suite including advanced features in Excel and Word
