M1 is looking for an Aircraft Worker
Primary responsibilities include but are not limited to the following:
* This position performs repairs and maintenance on aircraft, including troubleshooting
malfunctions in various systems such as the structure, landing gear, engines, auxiliary power units,
and ventilation. This role involves the daily operation of the flight line, wash rack, hangar and
other areas requiring customer and contract support.
* Assist in pre-flight, post-flight, and troubleshooting of aircraft systems.
* Remove, clean, replace defective parts, accessories, and components such as gaskets, actuators,
accumulators, gauges and fuel lines.
* Perform pre-flight, thru-flight, and post-flight maintenance inspections.
* Make adjustments to cables, seats, and other components.
* Inspect and repair or replace malfunctioning or damaged parts, including engine components.
* Keep maintenance records for all work performed, ensuring proper documentation of repairs and
services.
* Supervise and assist with aircraft jacking, towing, and wash activities.
* Participate in safety programs and comply with all safety protocols.
* Handle and dispose of hazardous materials (HAZMAT).
* Maintain clean and safe work areas, participate in the FOD program.
* Comply with all M1 and US Navy instructions and safety requirements.
Qualifications and Experience:
* One (1) year of experience with H60 aircraft (civilian or military).
* Ability to obtain and maintain Plane Captain Designation and associated certifications.
* Proficiency with computer programs, including Word, Excel, Outlook, and NALCOMIS/OOMA.
* Must be able to work various shifts depending on the flight schedule.
* Experience working in diverse, multicultural teams.
* Must pass a pre-employment drug screen and maintain a favorable background check.
* Must be able to obtain and maintain a US government Common Access Card (CAC). Defense
Biometric Identification System (DBIDS), for temporary use only while waiting for a CAC.
* Required to obtain and maintain a favorably adjudicated Tier-3 Background Investigation.
* Must be able to work all shifts. Full time employment: however, 40-hours is not guaranteed per-
week. Working hours; must be able to be flexible, start time and end time will be dependent on
flight schedule and or overall tasking.
* Current valid U.S. Driver's License.
Working Conditions:
* Must be able to lift up to 50lbs.
* Prolonged sitting and computer usage for documentation.
* Constant communication and mental alertness
* Ability to work under deadlines and in extreme weather conditions.
