The Senior Enterprise Portfolio Manager is responsible for ensuring that the enterprise portfolio aligns with the organization's strategic objectives and delivers maximum value. This role oversees governance, portfolio performance, risk management, and resource optimization, ensuring that initiatives across the portfolio are well-executed and aligned with business goals. The Senior Enterprise Portfolio Manager works in close collaboration with other key roles such as the Transformation Manager, Enterprise Program Manager and Business Relationship Manager to drive overall portfolio success.

This position will lead our Benefit & Values area and focuses on tracking and measuring the value delivered by portfolio initiatives. This role ensures that the organization derives maximum business value from its investments by managing value realization processes, defining and tracking KPIs, and driving continuous improvement across the portfolio. The position works closely with the other Enterprise Portfolio Managers and Business Relationship Managers to measure performance and ensure alignment with business goals and objectives.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Value Realization & Continuous Improvement:
    Develop and implement processes to track and measure value delivery across the portfolio. Lead initiatives to identify value gaps and implement continuous improvement activities that increase value realization over time.

  • KPI Development & Monitoring:
    Collaborate with Transformation Managers, other Enterprise Portfolio Managers and stakeholders to define key performance indicators (KPIs) and success metrics for portfolio investments. Monitor these KPIs to assess progress, provide performance reports, and recommend improvements where necessary.

  • Strategic Alignment & Value Mapping:
    Ensure that value delivery aligns with the organization's strategic objectives. Regularly assess how each initiative or program contributes to achieving business goals and helps the organization meet its priorities.

  • Financial Tracking & Budget Management:
    Monitor financial resources allocated to portfolio initiatives, ensuring that spending aligns with value drivers and strategic priorities. Work with the Business Relationship Managers and other Enterprise Portfolio Manager to adjust resources when necessary.

  • Stakeholder Reporting & Engagement:
    Provide regular updates to senior leadership and key stakeholders on value realization, including progress toward KPIs, milestones, and financial performance. Make recommendations to optimize value and improve future planning.

  • Risk Mitigation & Contingency Planning:
    Identify risks to value realization, including scope creep, budget overruns, and missed KPIs. Develop and execute mitigation strategies in collaboration with the Enterprise Program Manager, Business Relationship Manager and other Enterprise Portfolio Managers.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Finance, or related field.

  • At least 7 years of experience in value management, benefits realization, or portfolio management.

  • Strong analytical skills with expertise in defining and tracking KPIs.

  • Knowledge of value management frameworks and processes.

Preferred Certifications:

  • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM)

  • Certified Value Management Professional (CVMP)

  • Lean Six Sigma Green Belt or Black Belt

Base Salary Range: $95,800 - 136,900, commensurate with experience.
