Here's where you come in:

We are adding a Freelance Content Marketing Part-time Writer (Contractor) to our team to support our growing content needs in the energy, climate, and sustainability space. In this role, you will be responsible for developing high-quality blog posts, white papers, case studies, and other written materials that communicate our vision, thought leadership, and the impact of our solutions. You will collaborate with internal teams to gather technical information and present it in an engaging and accessible way for both technical and non-technical audiences.

Responsibilities:

• Create engaging and SEO-optimized content, including blog posts, white papers, and case studies, that highlight Edo's innovative solutions and industry leadership.
• Develop thought leadership pieces that contribute to Edo's position as an expert in the energy, climate, and sustainability sectors.
• Ensure all content is aligned with Edo's mission, values, and target audience.
• Collaborate with technical and engineering teams to distill complex information into clear, concise, and compelling content.
• Regularly update and improve existing content to keep it fresh, relevant, and optimized for SEO.
• Conduct research on industry trends, competitors, and market opportunities to inform content creation.
• Support marketing and sales teams with materials that aid in customer engagement, sales pitches, and brand awareness.

What we would like to see from you:

• 8+ years of proven experience writing in the energy, climate, or sustainability space, with a strong portfolio of white papers, case studies, and blog posts.
• Deep understanding of energy efficiency, demand response, and the evolving energy landscape.
• Expertise in SEO and digital marketing strategies to optimize content and drive engagement.
• Ability to turn complex technical concepts into compelling, accessible content for a wide range of audiences.
• Strong research skills and the ability to stay up-to-date on trends, technologies, and regulations in the energy industry.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple projects with tight deadlines.
• Bachelor's degree related field preferred.

The hourly pay range is $90- $120/hour, depending on experience.
