Job Title: Grant Administrator/ Training Evaluation Specialist Location: Trenton, NJ, 08625 Pay Rate: $30.30/hr. without benefits Duration: 09+ months with possible extension Shift Timing (Day/ Evening/ Night): Work Hours: 8:30am-4:30pm \|\| Lunch Hours(unpaid) Job Description: The Training Evaluation Unit (TEU) within the NJ Department of Labor and Workforce Development is responsible for reviewing and approving private career schools in collaboration with the New Jersey Department of Education and maintaining the Eligible Training Provider List (ETPL). In New Jersey, only ETPL providers may receive state or federal training dollars. Reviewing and approving initial and renewal applications, modifications, and change requests from providers for the Eligible Training Provider List and to become Private Career Schools Documenting activity and communicating with providers and other unit staff through IGX Adhering to the Client regulations on private career schools and to Training Evaluation Unit goals, policies, and procedures. Providing technical assistance and training to Training Providers and Local workforce Areas that contract with training providers. Equipment to be used by the temporary staffing professional(s): Laptop/Headphones. IGX Grant Systems(Internal Application), Word, Excel, Outlook, Avaya Workplace. Interview Mode: Virtual via Teams. Ability to learn new systems Ability to navigate complexity. Sound decision-making skills. Ability to carry out business-like communication with providers. Openness to asking questions when any procedure or function isn't clear. High standards of accuracy. Mandatory skills/certification(s) Requirement: 2- or 4-year college degree is helpful but not required if experience demonstrates the ability to carry out the functions listed above.
