The Senior Enterprise Applications Engineer will have diverse responsibilities for the implementation, maintenance, monitoring and support of various enterprise technology platforms with strong expertise in cloning and managing Oracle SaaS environments. The ideal candidate will ensure seamless environment refreshes, manage integrations, and optimize Oracle Fusion Cloud applications to support business objectives. This role requires a deep understanding of Oracle SaaS (Fusion Cloud) technologies, environment management, and automation processes.

Responsibilities

  • Managing and cloning Oracle SaaS (Fusion Cloud) environments
  • Configure and customize Oracle SaaS applications
  • Support extensions and workflows using Oracle's cloud development tools, such as Oracle Visual Builder and Application Composer.
  • Provide ongoing support and troubleshooting for Oracle SaaS applications.
  • Manage Oracle SaaS quarterly updates and ensure smooth implementation with minimal impact on business operations.
  • Build and manage integrations between Oracle SaaS and other enterprise applications using Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), REST APIs, and SOAP web services.
  • Implement best practices for scalability, security, and operational efficiency.
  • Participate in, and provide input to, project and support teams in proper deployment, configuration, and usage of the applications
  • Maintain application and system availability in the production environment and support project work as needed in the lower environments
  • Documentation for all above-referenced products in support of the Production environment
  • Work closely with Application Developers, Enterprise Architects, support teams, and vendors to troubleshoot issues
  • Monitor environmental performance of applications to ensure availability and accessibility
  • Participate in a 24x7 on-call rotation in support of high priority incidents and issues
  • Mentor junior engineers
  • Perform other duties as requested


Minimum Qualifications

  • Bachelor's degree in a related discipline and 4 years' experience in a related field. The right candidate could also have a different combination, such as a master's degree and 2 years' experience; a Ph.D. and up to 1 year of experience; or 16 years' experience in a related field
  • At least 2 years of experience managing and supporting Oracle SaaS applications (Fusion Cloud) in a production environment
  • Knowledge of SaaS environment structures , including metadata and configuration migration.
  • Proficiency in troubleshooting SaaS applications, integrations, and post-cloning issues .
  • Experience with Oracle E-Business Suite (EBS), Oracle WebCenter, Informatica Integration Hub, Oracle Integration Cloud (OIC), Apigee, Vertex, OneStream, Fastpath and Celonis


Preferred Qualifications

  • Informatica Integration Hub
  • Experience with SQL query and scripting languages
  • Understanding of SSL certificates, domain name/IP address relationships and network troubleshooting tools
  • Experience with automation and CI/CD tools such as or similar to Ansible, GitHub, or Jenkins
  • Understanding of authentication protocols (e.g., OAuth, SAML) and security considerations


USD 90,100.00 - 150,100.00 per year

Compensation:

Compensation includes a base salary of $90,100.00 - $150,100.00. The base salary may vary within the anticipated base pay range based on factors such as the ultimate location of the position and the selected candidate's knowledge, skills, and abilities. Position may be eligible for additional compensation that may include an incentive program.
