Pavion and our family of companies are seeking a talented and motivated Project Engineer to join our integration business unit.

Position Responsibilities:



  • Communicates with department (Sales/Operations) personnel to understand and define the project scope for integration
  • Meet with client to determine needs and formulate design. Complete site evaluation to determine client requirements and design specifications- Prepare engineering analysis of project to include: initial system design through various phases of engineering review to final system design, calculations, and integration documentation
  • Interpret and prepare blueprints, schematic drawings, and technical construction specifications
  • Manage engineering project schedule, propose changes to project, material selection and overall project costs
  • Create drawings for network systems including: line diagrams, facility floor plans, elevations, sections, panel details, rack elevations, and all other drawings required for successful project completion and coordination
  • Create final bill of materials for final system design


Basic Qualifications:



  • HS Diploma or equivalent
  • 3+ Years network design, configuration, and implementation
  • Cisco Certified Network Associate


Preferred Qualifications:



  • 8+ years experience in network design, configuration, implementation, management and support.
  • CompTIA Network+, CompTIA Security+, CCNP, MCSE
  • Expert knowledge of modern network system design including but not limited to: - routing, switching, VLAN and multicast
  • Proven experience and success with LAN and WLAN design and implementation
  • Proven experience with network planning, security principles, best practices and related technologies
  • Experience in implementing and managing VoIP systems desired
  • Proven hardware troubleshooting experience
  • Communicate effectively both verbally and in writing, ability to make technical presentations. This includes interfacing effectively with customers, peers, and executive level management
