Job Summary: The VitAL Training and Education Project Director oversees of all educational activities and programs. Develops educational programs and new curriculum in coordination with the VitAL program. Oversees the recruitment and training of the training and outreach staff. Assists in the budgeting development and adherence of educational activities. Develops and implements programmatic educational goals and objectives. Ensures consistent branding and messaging across VitAL program, training, and education. Ensures all educational activities comply with regulatory institutional, department, federal, and state requirements. Required Minimum Qualifications: Bachelor's degree and six (6) years of project management experience; OR master's degree and four (4) years of project management experience. Skills and Knowledge: Strong organizational skills. Ability to work independently using sound judgment. Solid decision-making skills to solve problems and to work through barriers that may impact progress. Ability to work as a part of an interdisciplinary team. Ability to organize and summarize information in a clear and concise manner. Strong leadership, communication, and presentation skills. Detail oriented. Highly motivated. Ability to multitask. Ability to network and build long-term relations within the stakeholders and the educational community. Preferred Qualifications: Ph.D. in higher education administration or health education. Ten (10) years in educational program design and an understanding of educational policies and guidelines..
