Position Title: Automation Attendant
Wage: $17/hour Shift: Day, Night; Rotating schedule Hours: 7am-7pm, 7pm-7am We have an exciting opportunity for you to make a difference! QPS Employment Group is looking for an Automation Operator for a manufacturing facility in Richfield, WI that produces plastic components for the healthcare industry. The Automation Operator is responsible for ensuring the automation cell continues running by answering alarms, loading springs or plastic components, and verifying inventory is available and pulled. With this opportunity, you will be able to interact with cutting edge automation equipment. No experience needed - just good attendance and attention to detail. This is a contract to hire role. Automation Attendant Responsibilities include but are not limited to: - Load materials into hoppers and manage inventory using RF scanners - Conduct visual inspections of incoming parts - Monitor automation cell performance, troubleshoot issues, and communicate effectively with team members - Maintain cleanliness in the work area and follow cleanroom requirements Automation Attendant Requirements: - High school diploma or equivalent - Previous manufacturing and RF scanner experience a plus - Experience with automation machines/equipment is a plus - Adequate computer and math skills - Mechanical aptitude - Ability to identify problems - Able to multi-task - Able to visually inspect product and identify defects as defined by the work instructions - Must be detail-oriented to be able to accurately verify part numbers - Ability to use powered pallet jacks - Must have a positive attitude that promotes the company culture - Fully aligned with core values - teamwork, passion, integrity, safety - Able to stand and move throughout the shift - Ability to lift up to 50lbs - Frequent reaching, bending, stooping, kneeling, twisting, and the use of wrist and hands - Work in a cleanroom environment and wear appropriate PPE as required per ISO standards QPS Employment Group is a full-service staffing firm comprised of dedicated and passionate people with over 50 offices throughout the Midwest.
