EDA Software Services Manager - Remote

The role of the Regional EDA Services Manager is to lead a team of engineering consultants and project administrators within the Electronic Design Automation (EDA) Global Customer Success Organization (CSO) to sell and provide services related to the portfolio of EDA software solutions. She/he will also define and track regional metrics for success such as gross margins for paid services. One major goal is to help grow global EDA Services revenues to 10% of overall EDA business revenues (currently <2%). She/he will report solid line to a regional CSO manager for service deployment and dotted line to the EDA Global CSO Operations Manager for processes and procedures.

• Define and price in local currencies of the portfolio of services to be offered in the region
• Recruit and train consulting service engineers to deliver the services
• Help business development people and sales qualify opportunities and sell services
• Help the regional CSO manager to make decisions about offering the service for pay or as a strategic internal investment
• Write Statements-of-Work and set prices for paid projects
• Approve pricing, discounts, and quotes for regional services
• Maintain regional processes for selling, deploying, and supporting ALFNA solutions
• Maintain a regional set of capital equipment or a lab for test hardware (including ALFNA) to help customers with modeling of devices for EDA purposes
• Manage and track service projects and assure proper revenue recognition
• Track training services and deliverables and coordinate with training providers, including service engineers, SEs, K-TAS, and Partners
• Form arrangements with regional partners as necessary for training or service delivery
• Forecast, track and report regional orders and revenues for customer-paid services and training
• Meet with Portfolio and Business leaders to assure that regional CSO plans and activities align with the businesses
• Manage engineers and other direct reports with mentoring, VCPs, and proper compensation

• BS or MS EE or equivalent needed, MBA desired
• Extensive knowledge of the range of Keysight EDA solutions and how they are used by customers
• Experience in managing teams of engineers and other technical and administrative professionals
• Able to communicate at every level from the C-suite to technicians and engineers (internal and customers)
• Excellent communications and presentation skills
• Skilled at group facilitation (collocated and remote)
