Accounts Receivable Specialist II

Ferrellgas is looking for an Accounts Receivable Specialist II to join the team! Under direct supervision, this position is responsible for customer support, resolving past due accounts, and reconciliation of high balance commercial accounts. This position requires a high school diploma or equivalency, with a bachelor's degree preferred, and 3+ years of commercial account work-related experience.

• Contacts commercial accounts by phone to resolve any AR related issues.
• Provides commercial account customer support to resolve delinquencies/past due amounts.
• Coordinates with our internal teams to support the customer AR needs to include missing documentation, cash application, or reconciliation of the account.
• Ability to work in multiple systems.
• Reviews and analyzes accounts receivable aging reports.
• Performs filing and other clerical duties as needed.

• High school diploma or equivalency. Bachelor's degree preferred.
• 3+ years of credit-related experience, with financial analysis experience preferred.
• Experience supporting large/National accounts.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills with an emphasis on developing a positive rapport with company employees at all levels as well as customers.
• Proficient in Microsoft Office including Excel, Word, and Access.
• Strong time-management and organizational skills with the ability to effectively multi-task.
• Must be detail oriented with the ability to take projects/tasks through to completion.
• Demonstrates problem-solving skills in a customer-focused environment.
• Must be a Citizen or National of the United States, a lawful, permanent resident, or have authorization to work in the United States
