Job Summary - This position is responsible for the scheduling of feed deliveries to turkey farms in the butterball North Carolina division. Other major responsibilities for this position include verifying and maintaining drug inventory records, production records, daily sales, withdrawals and entering data into the M-Tech system for accounting of all ingredients, deliveries and withdrawals.







Essential Functions, Duties & Responsibilities

* Receive and enter feed orders into Feed Order Entry System. Assign loads to drivers for delivery

* Verify and maintain drug inventory records.

* Verify production records.

* Maintain flock feed records and track growers' ordering patterns, create and distribute report to all necessary personnel.

* Create reports for daily sales, drug inventory, reclaim and transfer activity and distribute to appropriate personnel.

* Maintain open communication between growers and the feed mill. Assist growers in calculating the amount of feed needed.

* Verify and communicate any withdrawal requirements or feed issues for flocks to be processed.

* Receive orders from growers and/or service technicians for feed delivery. Key orders into M-tech Feed Delivery Scheduling Assistant Order Entry System.

* Print feed tickets and distribute to control room for shipping to the farms.

* Communicate with growers regarding the feed delivery schedule, who appear on Projection Report as being low on feed and inventories of feed left at end of sale.

* Collect production, inventory, receiving and shipping paperwork from the control room and maintain.

* Use M-tech system to generate reports for previous day shipments, rebuild history and projections, previous week feed shipments, and Flock Detail Report.

* Resolve any feed shipment issues that arise at month end close.

* Key in feed formulas using the M-Tech FDSA System

* Prepare paperwork for new formulas and verify drug levels, attach FDA required forms and drug tags, not special medications on tickets and verify farm bins are empty.

* Update M-Tech FDSA with new feeding programs and consumption tables, and new information from growers.







Knowledge, Skills & Abilities

* Proficiency in MS Office, with advanced knowledge in Microsoft Excel.

* Proficiency in the use of a computer based Feed Delivery System, preferably M-Tech Software.

* Ability to professionally deal with the growers, public, vendors and associates at all times.

* Must possess excellent communication, organization and time-management skills.








Ed Education & Experience: Associate's degree or equivalent from a two year college or technical school or six months to one year related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination of education and experience.







Physical Demands



* Carry up to 25 LBS

* Will regularly bend, lift, push, standing, walk, and reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop and kneel and couch or Crawl. Must be able to climb stairs.






Work Environment



Work is generally performed in a climate-controlled office environment.
