ABOUT THE JOB

As a member of our applications development team, you will develop business-changing enterprise solutions using leading-edge web technologies. The ideal candidate will have experience developing web applications using Microsoft and compatible technologies including Visual Studio and C#. As a company, Hawkins is looking to super charge our information delivery model. Exposure to web development, Business Intelligence tools and concepts, and other means of delivering information to end users is very beneficial and will be a key to the success of the individual in this role.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Design & Development



  • Design and develop content and applications that integrate with other enterprise systems and third-party products.
  • Assist other developers, analysts, and designers in conceptualizing and developing web-based solutions through the appropriate tool or means of information delivery.
  • Conduct research on emerging development tools and strategies.
  • Write technical specification for the design or redesign of applications.


Testing & Delivery



  • Conduct rigorous unit testing.
  • Participate in overall application/system testing to ensure a quality product.
  • Deploy applications to test and production environments as needed.


Product Support



  • Provide expertise and support to end users and other members of the IT support team.
  • Recommend, schedule, and perform software improvements and upgrades.
  • Develop a consistent and flexible means of delivering information to Hawkins' end users.

      ABOUT YOU:



      • Required Experience:


        • 2 - 3 years of work experience
        • SQL Server or equivalent
        • Web Development


      • Preferred Experience:


        • College degree in the field of computer science or software engineering
        • Microsoft IIS or equivalent web server platform
        • .NET
        • Git
        • Azure Dev Ops
        • SharePoint development
        • Object Oriented Programing and Design
        • Familiarity with Microsoft Azure PaaS & IaaS services
        • JavaScript/Frameworks
        • Telerik
        • MVC / Razor / Blazor

          TRAVEL

          No travel required.

          Expected Compensation: $90,000 to $100,000 + 10% bonus eligibility
