We are seeking a strategic and analytical Financial Manager to lead the Financial Planning and Analysis (FP&A) and Pricing operations for Ignite Digital Services. This role involves developing and managing budgets, forecasts, financial models and pricing/cost volumes to support strategic decision-making and proposals. The Manager will manage a small team and work closely with cross-functional teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and analysis, manage our pricing process, contributing to the company's long-term success.

Financial Analysis



  • Analyze financial statements (balance sheet, income statement, cash flow statement) to identify trends, strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats
  • Identify variances between actual and budgeted financial results to inform corrective actions
  • Maintain financial models to forecast revenue, expenses, and cash flow, and create financial plans
  • Prepare and present monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for senior management
  • Provide actionable insights and recommendations to improve financial performance


Financial Modeling



  • Develop comprehensive financial projections by designing and developing models to forecast company's revenue, expenses, and cash flow
  • Update and maintain financial models, conduct regular reviews of the models and sensitivity analysis to ensure accuracy, relevance and compliance


Forecasting and Budgeting



  • Analyze budget against actual performance to identify budget variances and causes, develop recommendations for budget adjustments, and collaborate with stakeholders to implement budget changes to ensure optimal budget performance monitoring
  • Collaborate with division and department heads to determine budget requirements, develop budget templates, and conduct budget reviews and approvals to ensure budget alignment with strategic objectives and maintain budget documentation
  • Identify opportunities to streamline financial processes and reporting
  • Collaborate with divisions and departments to implement financial systems and tools that improve efficiency
  • Work closely with management to provide financial guidance and ensure adherence to budgets


Pricing



  • Work closely with Senior Management to complete pricing/cost volumes in support of federal contract solicitations
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to gather data and insights necessary for pricing decisions
  • Manage a pricing team to support strategic initiatives, considering factors such as market trends, staffing plans, price-to-win, etc
  • Monitor performance and identify opportunities for improvement or optimization
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures to support a growing organization
  • Attend industry events and training to stay updated on industry trends and best practices


Qualifications



  • Bachelor's degree in finance, accounting, or related field. Masters preferred
  • 5+ years of progressive experience in corporate finance roles
  • 2+ years of proven leadership experience, managing teams and driving process improvements
  • Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial modeling
  • Experience with Government approved accounting systems (e.g. JAMIS Prime, Deltek)
  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
  • Ability to translate complex financial data into actionable business insights
  • Strong organizational and time-management skills to meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment


Preferred Qualifications:



  • Experience in DoD contracting industry
  • Familiarity with project controls, pricing strategies, and/or mergers and acquisitions (M&A)
  • Knowledge of data visualization tools such as Tableau or Power BI
  • Experience with federal government pricing


Hybrid: 1-2 days a week onsite

Salary: 100k+ to align with education and experience
