We are seeking a dedicated and dynamic Account Manager to join our Care Chemicals division. In this role, you will work alongside Business Development partners to manage and grow key accounts, develop strong customer relationships, and drive sales growth. The ideal candidate will have a passion for the chemical industry, excellent communication skills, and a customer-centric approach.
Responsibilities
- Manage overall relationships with Heart/Belly customers in the USA and Canada, maintaining close contact with procurement and R&D teams.
- You will ensure overall growth and satisfaction of customers.
- Handle contracts, pricing, and overdue management.
- Provide insights into customer demand development.
- Drive growth by expanding the share of wallet through biddings and tenders.
- Proactively address and mitigate churn risks.
- Manage CRM customer and NBD pipeline in collaboration with Business Development Managers.
- Prepare accurate and timely sales and volume forecasts.
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Chemistry, Chemical Engineering, Agronomy, Business Administration, Marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in technical promotion, commercial, and/or marketing of chemicals (preferably in crop-related segments).
- Proven experience in account management, collaborating with different roles and stakeholders to ensure customer success (preferably in the specialty chemicals industry).
- Sales-driven mindset with a passion for achieving and exceeding targets.
- Strong communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Self-motivated and proactive, with the ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
- Proficiency in CRM software, Microsoft Office Suite, and other relevant sales tools.
