About the Role

We are seeking an experienced Azure Service Engineer to support, maintain, and optimize our Azure-based infrastructure.

What You Will Do

This role will involve monitoring services, troubleshooting issues, and ensuring the high availability and performance of our cloud-based applications. The ideal candidate will have hands-on experience with Azure services, infrastructure management, and cloud-based IT support.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Automation and Optimization: Develop scripts and use tools like Azure Automation, PowerShell, and Azure CLI to automate routine tasks, enhance operational efficiency, and optimize costs.
  • Incident and Problem Management: Respond to service-related incidents, troubleshoot root causes, and work with cross-functional teams to resolve issues quickly and effectively, minimizing impact on end-users.
  • Service Monitoring and Maintenance: Use Azure Monitor, Application Insights, and Log Analytics to continuously monitor the health, performance, and reliability of Azure services, addressing any issues proactively to maintain uptime.
  • Documentation and Knowledge Sharing: Document troubleshooting steps, operational procedures, and system configurations, building a knowledge base to support quick resolution of future issues and enable team collaboration.

What You Need

  • 9+ years of professional experience in cloud operations, IT support, or service engineering with a focus on Microsoft Azure.
  • Proficiency in Azure services, including Azure Virtual Machines, Azure Networking, Azure Storage.
  • Experience with monitoring and logging tools, such as Azure Monitor, Application Insights.
  • Strong scripting skills (PowerShell, Azure CLI) for automation and task simplification.
  • Familiarity with identity and access management using Azure Active Directory.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, particularly in a cloud-based environment.

What is Nice to Have

  • Certifications (preferred): Microsoft Certified: Azure Administrator Associate, Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect, or relevant certifications in cloud operations.

Pay Transparency
Dependent on the position offered, other forms of compensation are also available, such as bonuses or commission.

Pay is based on a wide range of factors, including, without limitation, skill set, experience, training, location, and business need.
