Marketing Excellence Intern

Tennant Company's Marketing Excellence Team is searching for well-qualified undergraduate students for their 2025 summer internship. The intern will work with the team's senior analysts, supporting analysis and modeling, identifying and visualizing market insights. The intern will gain experience with cross-functional groups and advanced analysis. Their work will enhance our data driven decision-making process, influence product strategies, and help better leverage data. The person will ultimately present their results to senior marketing leadership.

Core Responsibilities:

• Develop an insights library organizing current market insights in a meaningful way
• Analyze data from market studies and internal sources to identify trends and opportunities
• Collaborate with analysts and product leaders to support product management goals
• Create an insightful dashboard covering a previously unanalyzed topic
• Engage with customer satisfaction data to garner insights
  
  

Required Education:

• Pursuing a Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing, Economics, Data Sciences, Statistics, Math, or other degree with quantitative background
  
  

Required Experience:

• Working knowledge of Microsoft Word and PowerPoint
• Experience with intermediate to advanced Microsoft Excel functions such as IF and VLOOKUP
• Strong commitment to personal development and learning
• Demonstrated ability to work independently, organize and accurately prioritize work, be detail-oriented, understand when urgency is required and use good judgment in varied situations
  
  

Preferred Experience:

• Experience modeling and visualizing data in Power BI, Tableau, or similar business intelligence software
• Previous internship or collegiate work experience preferred
• Experience working with large and diverse datasets a plus
