Description
The Senior Architect, Cloud Infrastructure is responsible for the design, architecture, implementation, coordination, and maturity of technologies supporting complex corporate infrastructure in a multi-tenant hybrid cloud environment. Leveraging deep technical expertise, this role will provide technical leadership for systems and services, on multiple cloud platforms, including Azure and AWS. This role will be responsible for troubleshooting, analyzing, resolution and documentation of service impacting events, including but not limited to, recommendation and implementation of approved solutions to ensure high availability and reliability. The ability to research, evaluate and recommend cloud services and tools to optimize infrastructure application and performance in addition to collaborating cross functionally to define cloud strategies and roadmaps will be essential in this role.

Job Duties
  • Automate the build, maintaining and supporting the infrastructure environment throughout the full lifecycle process, proactively recommending and documenting options to improve the environment
  • Deploy applications, systems, and services into complex multi-tenant hybrid cloud environments
  • Define system and service monitors and alerts, identify and resolve performance and capacity issues proactively
  • Develop and/or leads the development of low level and as-built architecture design documentation
  • Create and maintain documentation of all system builds and modifications
  • Partner with IT support groups to help perform root cause analysis of issues and identify solutions
  • Recommend and adjust system configurations to optimize system performance and functionality
  • Work within a change control environment, following organizational change policy, documenting, and scheduling all changes prior to implementation
  • Mentor and guide fellow Engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and improvement
  • Installation, configuring, and testing of system software
  • Occasional participation in after-hours systems implementations (as necessary) and after-hours support rotation
  • Assist in planning and participate disaster recovery procedures
Essential Skills
  • Minimum 7 years' experience providing solutions-based data processing experience with a concentration in cloud-based systems engineering, operating systems and network design/configuration and management
  • Strong knowledge of IT infrastructure, networking, storage, and security technologies
  • Extensive experience engineering with enterprise Cloud Services to include Azure and AWS
  • Experience with recovery and high availability methodologies and technologies supporting an enterprise-wide environment
  • Experience analyzing assigned specifications, planning, engineering, and implementation of infrastructure solutions
  • Experience in the development and configuration of monitoring and alerting thresholds for infrastructure services
  • In depth knowledge and experience working with datacenter technologies and Server Operating systems to include Microsoft server environments, experience with Linux Operating systems is a plus
  • Experience in DevOps practices and CI/CD pipelines is a plus
  • Proficiency with infrastructure as a code as well as containerization and orchestration are a plus
  • Ability to effectively prioritize tasks, effectively managing a variety of responsibilities
  • Strong business communication skills; able to write/speak clearly and professionally for a variety of audiences
  • Proven ability to educate, mentor and instruct fellow team members on cloud services and technologies
  • Ability to establish and maintain strong relationships with internal stakeholders
  • Analytical problem solving skills; ability to resolve complex issues with minimal direction
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite and Microsoft 365 applications including Visio
  • Minimum Education: Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or Information Systems is preferred, or 5 years of relevant experience in lieu of Bachelor's degree
  • Certification/License: One or more of the following current certifications; AWS Certified Cloud Practitioner, AWS Certified Solutions Architect, Azure Solutions Architect, preferred
Location: Hillsboro, OR 97124 | Rocklin, CA 95765 (HYBRID)
Target Compensation in Hillsboro, OR: $135k - $155k annually + annual bonus
Target Compensation inRocklin, CA 95765: $150k - $170k annually + annual bonus
