Summary: Join our Cardiac Observation Unit, which fosters a family-like environment focused on teamwork and mutual respect. Our 12-bed unit provides personalized, high-quality care to patients with conditions such as chest pain, NSTEMIs, cardiac dysrhythmias, post-cardiac catheterization, pacemaker recovery, and more, including occasional overflow for patients requiring dialysis, syncope care, and other specialized needs. In this fast-paced unit, you'll be able to enhance your clinical skills, including patient assessments, critical thinking, and decision-making. Our nurse-to-patient ratios range from 3:1 to 5:1, ensuring that each patient receives compassionate and attentive care tailored to their individual needs. As part of a collaborative team, you'll play a vital role in providing exceptional care and support to every patient. As an LPN, you'll provide skilled nursing care to assigned patients in alignment with prescribed medical regimens and hospital policies. You will practice nursing within the scope of the North Carolina Nursing Practice Act, under the oversight of the North Carolina Board of Nursing.
