Huntsman School of Business at Utah State University invites applications for a non-tenure-track nine-month Lecturer, with an anticipated starting date of August 1, 2025. As part of USU's land grant mission to make academic programs accessible throughout the state, the positions will be physically located the USU Salt Lake Center in Taylorsville, Utah. Responsibilities The successful applicant will teach hands-on courses within the department's Full Stack Development, including Web Development and Mobile Development. Offerings cover a wide range of emerging technologies that are in high-demand in today's workforce, full stack app development, cloud computing, database management, and DevOps. Experience and interest in teaching software development in various environments is of particular interest for these positions. The curriculum is continually expanding as industry demands change and we welcome unique course offerings from prospective candidates. Responsibilities will also focus on student mentoring in the Analytics Solutions Center (https://huntsman.usu.edu/asc/ ), an organization within the Huntsman School of Business that offers rigorous experiential learning opportunities connecting interdisciplinary student teams with real-world problems from partner companies and organizations. Faculty mentors will provide support and technical guidance on these projects.
