Sales Account Manager

Do you have one year of sales and/or customer service experience in manufacturing or distribution? Are you proficient with Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software to create technical drawings and 3D models? Advantage Resourcing is seeking new talent in Bon Air, AL, to fill a direct-hire position with our new client. We are hiring an experienced Sales Account Manager for a wholesale distributor of industrial and mechanical pipe, valves, and fittings.

Salary: $40,000-$70,000 + performance bonus incentives

1st Shift Hours: 7 AM - 5 PM, Monday-Friday

The candidate selected will be working in a professional, open-office environment. Daily responsibilities for the Sales Account Manager will include utilizing Computer-Aided Design (CAD) software to create technical drawings and 3D models, contacting new potential customers (cold calls), communicating via phone and email while creating/maintaining positive/lasting relationships, providing quotes and negotiating pricing/terms, and staying up-to-date on available inventory and purchasing raw materials and/or outsourcing to other companies to complete customer orders as needed. This position will not be responsible for handling collections.

Qualifications:

• 1+ years of Sales and/or Customer Service in manufacturing or distribution (CAD drafting knowledge and skills preferred).
• Strong communication, phone, customer service, sales, computer, mechanical, listening, negotiating, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to analyze blueprints/drawings.
