Human Resources Coordinator

STV is seeking a Human Resources Coordinator to work with our corporate HR team. This position is hybrid (3 days week/in office) and can be located in one of the following STV offices: Charlotte, NC, Dallas, TX, Jacksonville, FL, or Chicago, IL.

The HR Coordinator will operate as part of a Shared Services model to support employees at all levels with inquiries as well as the HR team with day-to-day processes and procedures. This role plays a vital part in the overall success of the HR function and its delivery of people-oriented strategies.

Duties

• Assist employees with HR related inquiries in a timely and customer service focused manner.
• Assist with HR programs and initiatives: talent acquisition, employment processing, compensation, records management, employee relations, and compliance.
• Participate in the formulation of HR solutions by collecting and analyzing information, recommending courses of action.
• Complete special projects by carrying out project objective; setting timetables and schedules; conducting research; developing and organizing information; fulfilling transactions.
• Manage client expectations by communicating project status and issues, resolving concerns.
• Prepare reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing data and trends.
• Protect organization's value by keeping information confidential.
• Comply with federal, state, and local legal requirements by staying abreast of existing and new legislation.
• Enhance department and organization reputation by accepting ownership for accomplishing new and different requests; explore opportunities to add value to job accomplishments.
• Continue to develop job knowledge by participating in educational opportunities; reading professional publications; maintaining personal networks; participating in professional organizations.

Qualifications

• 3-5 years of experience as an HR Coordinator/Generalist or Administrative
• Bachelor's degree in human resources or related field preferred, but not required
• Demonstrated skills to include:
  • Detail-orientedand responsive, ensuring closed-loop communication
  • Problem-solving abilitieswith a process improvement mindset
  • Inquisitiveand resourceful
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office products (Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, Visio, Forms)
• Experience in the following is a plus
  • Workday HCM
  • AEC industry
