Material Control Lead

TSC is seeking a Material Control Lead in our Huntsville, AL location.

Responsibilities:

The Material Control Lead is responsible for the overall management of inventory flow from receiving to product shipment. This includes receiving activities, inventory management, to include audit management, and and cycle counts, inventory movement, Manufacturing Order product shipment. This position will interact with supply chain, the production floor, planning, Program Management, and operations management. The successful candidate will have experience the Deltek Cost Point or equivalent ERP system and have worked in or be familiar with AS9100 quality standards and how they apply to inventory management. This is an on-site position. This position is a management position under the Materials Management Section.

Required Qualifications:

Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, business administration or a related field and a minimum of 8 years of relevant experience. A minimum of 12 experience may be considered in lieu of degree.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Strong knowledge of material control principles, procedures, and best practices
• Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
• Experience with AS9100 quality standards
• Proficiency with Deltek Costpoint
• Proficiency with Aegis FactoryLogix, Oracle, SAP, or other ERP/MRP systems.
• Ability to work effectively under pressure and meet deadlines
• Experience working with other internal groups such as production management, program management and operations management in order to support overall inventory flow and product production.
