Systems Engineer II

TSC is seeking aSystems Engineer IIinBloomington, IN. This position supports the MK-59 system. The Systems Engineer II shall be able to determine problems, and provide solutions to issues that arise, designing systems, upgrading systems, maintaining systems, and brainstorming possible improvements that can be made to a system in the future.

Responsibilities:

This position requires a flexible individual with experience inSystems Engineering.

• Creating control features to ensure systems effectively meet the organization's quality standards.
• Engaging in quality control procedures to ensure that systems are efficient and operational.
• Performing a cost-benefit analysis.
• Ensuring that the system is operating at maximum efficiency.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor's degree in Electrical, Computer, or related engineering discipline and 2+ years of professional experience.
• Shall be able to use Logic and reasoning when troubleshooting difficult issues.
• Candidates must be able to develop solutions to problems, as well as manage multiple issues at the same time.
• US Citizenship and the ability to obtain and maintain a Secret DoD Clearance.
• Understanding and appropriately responding to feedback is an important aspect of this position.
• Advanced math skills are commonly used in analysis and design.
• Both oral and written communication skills are vital to relaying important information, training new staff members and communicating about solutions to complex problems.
