Position Overview

The EHR Support Analyst (ESA) possesses a deep understanding of Epic and health center operations. This role supports OCHIN member ESA in various areas to understand their role as a liaison between their health center and OCHIN. The ESA ensures the initial as well as ongoing education and coaching in various areas of EPIC via bootcamps, webinars, workshops, and one on one trainings. The ESA goes beyond training and connects system functionality to member operational needs and success metrics. The OCHIN ESA partners with member ESA throughout their journey to support education, growth, and development. This role also works in partnership with member to strengthen their operations and metrics. The ESA delivers coaching, training, technical assistance and collaborates with OCHIN staff and OCHIN members to optimize and expand areas of the ESA Program.

The person in this role will possess a customer-service orientation, with enthusiasm for finding solutions and connecting resources in support of health center goals. They will thrive in a fast-paced environment and excel at finding solutions to complicated questions. Superb communication, training and meeting-facilitation skills are a must with the ability to build relationships with diverse stakeholders.

Essential Functions:

The ESA duties include, but are not limited to:

  • Maintain updated and ongoing knowledge in designated EPIC areas as needed to support the ESA program.
  • Plan, coordinate, facilitate, and evaluate learning sessions/trainings for members in collaboration with project partners including curriculum design, agenda setting, and trainer identification.
  • Design, develop and maintain ESA program content and materials.
  • Support planning and coordination of ESA program and its activities.
  • Serve as a partner and coach, identifying new ways to support member ESA.
  • Consult with individual members to create and implement ESA structure in their health center.
  • Observe, evaluate and develop support plans for individual members as needed.
  • Deliver coaching sessions both in a group setting and one-on-one.
  • Deliver trainings via multiple modalities, including in-person onsite consultations, one-on-one, group setting, virtually and by phone.
  • Serve as a resource for members on key content areas - connecting members with the tools and resources they need to reach health center goals.
  • Provide coaching, training and technical assistance to member SS around identified needs.
  • Assist in the coordination of member consultations, including planning meeting logistics, communicating with members, preparing content for meetings, and coordinating follow-up.
  • Serve as a vital piece in building and fostering positive relations within the team and member organizations.
  • Collaborate with other OCHIN teams to best support membership.
  • Monitor and disseminate required Key Performance Indicator data/reports, both internally and externally.
  • Assist in development of evaluation methods to assess program strengths and identify areas of improvement.
  • Manage and attend to related JIRAs.
  • Manage and monitor program email, SharePoint site and Ella forums.
  • Ensure goals are met in areas including customer satisfaction, safety, quality and team member performance.
  • Implement and manage changes and interventions to ensure program goals are achieved.
  • Support program growth and development.
  • Completes Continuum UAT for all release notes in the SP/EP release notes
  • Up to 75% travel will be required for Go Live Support
  • Other duties as assigned.
Requirements
  • Bachelor's degree in healthcare administration, business administration, public administration, IT, health informatics, or a similar field or relevant experience required.
  • Minimum of 3 years of Epic experience in similar or relevant role in safety net organizations.
  • 10 Years of applicable experience desired.
  • Up to 75% travel will be required for Go Live Support
  • Must have experience with EPIC EHR software. EPIC Certification or proficiencies in Ambulatory, Prelude, Cadence, Resolute HB and PB are highly desired.
  • Experience with Epic Ambulatory technical support is required.
  • Strong understanding of health center operations.
  • Demonstrated solution-focused orientation with strong understanding of change management principles.
  • Experience in or with a Federally Qualified Health Center (FQHC) is highly desired.
  • Superb verbal and written communication skills.
  • Excellent writing skills for correspondence, summary and progress reports, editing.
  • High degree of professionalism and interpersonal skills
  • Ability to work professionally with all levels of leadership, both within OCHIN and outside organizations.
  • Ability to multi-task and organize priorities, work autonomously, establish timelines, coordinate multiple tasks, events, and project timelines.
  • Ability to travel to support member software installations/ to provide Go Live support

Base Pay Overview

The typical offer range for this role is minimum to midpoint, with the midpoint ($87,767) representing the average pay in a national market scope for this position. Please keep in mind that this range represents the pay range for all positions in the job grade within which this position falls. The actual salary offer will consider a wide range of factors directly relevant to this position, including, but not limited to, skills, knowledge, training, responsibility, and experience, as well as internal equity and alignment with market data

Work Location and Travel Requirements

OCHIN is a 100% remote organization with no physical corporate office location. Employees work remotely from home and many of our positions also support our member organizations on-site for new software installations. Nationwide travel is determined based on OCHIN business needs. Please inquire during the interview process about travel requirements for this position.
