JOB SUMMARY:

The Shop Attendant greets and assists members and guests to the Tennis Center and Tennis Pro Shop. Ensure all supplies are stocked and facilities are clean and visually appealing. Provide exceptional customer service, answer questions, and ensure guest has a pleasant experience.

ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:



  • Greet and assist members and guests to the facility.
  • Answer phone and schedule appointments for tennis courts and lessons.
  • Handle sales transactions within POS system.
  • Utilize Golf Pro and V1 for scheduling and check in of guests for service.
  • Maintain cleanliness of tennis and fitness center; re-stock merchandise.
  • Ensure retail items are folded, hung and neatly organized.


MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS:



  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED).
  • Previous experience in a retail environment preferred.
  • Comprehend reading materials, speak, read and write English.


ADDITIONAL QUALIFICATIONS:



  • Requires problem solving abilities.
  • Requires excellent oral and written communications skills.
  • Maintain a clean, safe and environmentally responsible work environment.
  • Must have neat and pleasant overall appearance.
  • Inform supervisor in a timely manner of any outstanding issues or customer complaints that need further assistance.
