We are adding a Loss Prevention Manager to our Team. Come work with us!

This position will be a part of the company's growing Loss Prevention department. The position will manage the Loss Prevention department's daily functions to protect company assets and employees. This position will partner with Internal audit, Legal, Real Estate, Operations and other functions as needed. The position will report directly to the VP of Internal Audit.

RESPONSIBILITIES



  • Ensuring all company-directed Loss Prevention programs are implemented and executed within the scope of responsibility.
  • Training, development, and overall performance of direct reports.
  • Developing the field organization in Loss Prevention through training, communication, and awareness programs.
  • Manage and respond to all inquiries received through the Loss Prevention inbox, including but not limited to; possible check frauds, credit card charge backs, physical security inquiries.
  • Organize and facilitate Loss Prevention training for all levels of the field organization within your scope of responsibility.
  • Assess region needs to ensure Loss Prevention resources (CCTV, EAS, manpower) are properly deployed.


  • Review new and existing site plan drawings / building floorplans for purposes of developing a security camera scope which includes effective camera placement for optimal viewing angles

    • This includes sourcing, reviewing and negotiating proposals from applicable vendors (knowledge of the US National Defense Authorization Act or NDAA and its regulatory requirements a must)


  • To assist the real estate / facilities team with effective measures to secure vacant properties


  • Ensuring losses of company assets are prevented, investigated, and resolved timely.
  • Conduct investigations and interviews for cases of misappropriation of company assets.
  • Report quarterly to the VP of Internal Audit on the status of loss prevention cases.
  • Investigate Hotline Calls related to Loss Prevention in a timely manner.
  • Perform site visits to evaluate


    • Physical security controls and identify potential hazards,
    • Conduct fraud investigations,
    • Consult with management.


  • Manage monthly Travel & Expense budgets.
  • Work closely with management to communicate and train operational standards.
  • Offer recommendations and solutions in crisis situations such as workplace violence, protests, and demonstrations.
  • Develop liaison with local law enforcement and emergency services.
  • Other duties may be assigned.



MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.



  • Bachelor's degree
  • Prior law enforcement preferred.


  • Wicklander-Zulawski Advanced interviewing certification preferred
  • Certified Forensic Interview (CFI) preferred
  • LPQualified (LPQ) or LPCertified (LPC) preferred


COMPETENCIES



  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills are required.
  • Excellent time management and ability to prioritize/multitask.
  • Proficient in conducting investigations and integrity interviews.
  • Basic knowledge of computer applications: excel, word, and PowerPoint.
  • 3+ years of Loss Prevention management experience preferred.
  • Analytical skills sufficient to conduct research, determine the relevance of information and interpret meaning.


  • Financial analysis skills sufficient to interpret operating statements and other financial data.
  • Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business periodicals, professional journals, technical procedures, or governmental regulations.
  • Ability to write reports, business correspondence, and procedure manuals.
  • Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from groups of managers, clients, customers, and the general public.
  • To perform this job successfully, an individual should have knowledge of; Database software; Internet software; Spreadsheet software and Word Processing software.
  • Proficient at Microsoft Office product suite.
