Job Description
  • Meet with community organizations to learn about their missions and share information about our mission and goals
  • Maintain current knowledge of state and local guidelines and regulations
  • Act as liaison between various departments to meet client needs and securing MOUs with existing and new organizations that can provide on-the-job training to our participants
  • Conduct searches for suitable job openings and trainings for clients, comparing client qualifications with employer's requirements
  • assigning clients to approved community service sites
  • Monitoring client engagement at a community service site and/or tracking attendance
  • Collaborating with Employment Coaches to assist with managing a caseload of clients assigned to community service/work experience activities
  • Establish rapport with area businesses; maintain on-going relationships with businesses
  • Works with businesses to identify job openings, alternative work activities, and training initiatives
  • Coordinate job fairs and employer hiring events
  • Enlist cooperation of community and business leaders to help increase awareness of available services in the community
  • Communicate with other departments and management to develop strategy and solutions
  • Represent WeCARE services to the community, host roundtables and monthly community-based organization meetings
Qualifications
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Familiarity with the communities being served, with knowledge and understanding of local needs and resources.
  • Ability to work well in teams and independently
  • 2-3 years of experience in business, sales or training
  • Bachelor's degree in business, education, human resources, liberal arts or related area, or equivalent experience in similar role or with participant population
Additional Information

Pay range: $23.08 to $24.04
