Summary: This Business Solutions Analyst will work closely with various stakeholders to ensure that business goals align with technical capabilities to support the on-going changing needs of the organization. This position will break down complex problems and recommend practical solutions to support the Strategic Planning Team. The Business Solutions Analyst is also responsible for working as a liaison between the business and the technology team, helping to identify and document functional requirements for the creation or maintenance of the Business Solutions applications such as Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, Creatio (CRM), and SSRS/Power BI reporting requirements.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following.

  • Understand strategic planning concepts to translate business goals into measurable outcomes.
  • Develop, oversee and maintain the strategic plan metrics including the creation of Key Performance Indicators (KPIs) and work with business leads to maintain their divisional roadmaps.
  • Work with the Business Units, Finance and DMA to ensure data is automated where possible and being updated as needed for the Strategic Plan KPI's.
  • Responsible for working with stakeholders, technical teams and leadership to develop business functional requirements needed for effective and efficient changes and enhancements to business wide applications such as reports, Microsoft Teams, SharePoint, and Creatio (CRM).
  • Assist in the design and creation of visual reports and dashboards to help stakeholders understand data trends and team performance.
  • Assist Continuous Process Improvement and Strategy Team to gather data, observe routines, analyze processes, and assist in developing solutions to improve results and meet goals.
  • Author and update various documentation as needed to support the business including functional business requirements, procedures, and presentations.
  • Oversee the implementation and testing of the solutions created and ensure customer satisfaction with the output.
  • Manage open tickets on Teams, SharePoint, CRM, SSRS/Power BI report requests.
  • Other projects and responsibilities may be added at managers discretion
  • Completes all yearly compliance training and testing and complies with bank, federal, and state regulations. Comply with Bank Policies and Procedures. Adheres to departmental and bank-wide service standards.

Qualifications: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily. The requirements listed below are representative of the knowledge, skill, and/or ability required.

Education and/or Experience: Bachelor's degree in related field or the equivalent of 5 years of related experience working in a financial services organization. A strong understanding of how to collect, validate, analyze and report on data is critical to this role.

Skills needed:

  • Time Management/Prioritization; Ability to set timelines and deliver/meet deadlines
  • Willingness/Interest in learning new functions
  • Experience with Process Modeling with techniques like flowcharts and diagrams used to visualize processes and recommend improvements.
  • Understanding of Banking Operations; Knowledge of process and transactions within Banking
  • Familiarity with software development methodologies, database management, and tools like ERP or CRMs
  • Collaborative; Strong Relationship Management
  • Communication skills; ability to convey information effectively

Computer/Technical Skills: Proficient with Microsoft Office; SharePoint, Teams, SSRS/Power BI, Understanding of Core System and Banking Processes, ERM/CRM tools; Creatio Experience a plus
