Job Summary |
The Auburn University Office of Enrollment Services seeks an Administrative Support Specialist I/II
who will assist in the development, maintenance, review and update of TigerStripe Tele-counseling program communications while supervising student employees, which includes interviewing and managing the tele-counseling staff.
NOTE: Position hours are Monday-Thursday 9:30am - 6:30pm and Friday 7:45am-4:45pm.

Essential Functions |
- Advises others on processes, procedures, and services; and resolves policy related or procedural problems. Provides information to and facilitates communication between administrators, faculty, staff, prospective and incoming students and their families, stakeholders, and participants concerning undergraduate admissions application process, Auburn Student Experience and Auburn University.
- Gathers information and prepares various reports and correspondence; researches and resolves issues. Creates, coordinates, builds, audits and maintains all forms, training materials, inquiries, scripts and reports for all Tele-counseling calls.
- Provides budget tracking and coordination for a unit or department.
- Plans and coordinates large or complex projects, writes, plans, coordinates,manages, and edits an assortment of communications for each Tele-counselingcall (including scripts, FAQs, email communications and other requests).
- Performs specialized technical duties and coordinates processes. Coordinate and gather all appropriate information need for each individual script, FAQ, form, query and call.
- Reviews and verifies documentation for completeness and compliance with policies and procedures.
- Assists in the development and maintenance of data and databases to ensure accurate and accessible records for all programs' list serves, address lists, stakeholders, and program attendees.
- Performs a variety of clerical duties, which may include (but not limited to): typing& correspondence, filing/folders, recordkeeping/compilation/data entry, preparation/processing forms (high school transcript evaluation), calendars and scheduling, mail distribution and outgoing prospective student mailings, travel/expense vouchers, telephones and greeting, supplies/inventory, limited supervision of clerical or student work, other support duties of similar difficulty.

Minimum Qualifications |
Level I: High school diploma or equivalent plus 4 years experience in administrative support services.
Level II: High school diploma or equivalent plus 6 yrs experience in administrative support services.
Substitutions allowed for Experience: When a candidate has the required education, but lacks the required experience, they may normally apply additional appropriate education toward the experience requirement, at a rate of one (1) year relevant education per year of required experience. |
