Summary of Position

Under the general direction of senior leadership for the Hospital and Health System Market Leader team, the Senior Manager, Enterprise Care Solutions Strategy will manage and support activities in service of creating and delivering scalable virtual care products and solutions that meet and exceed the needs of the enterprise virtual care market.

In collaboration with sales, marketing, product management, engineering, and operations teams, the Senior Manager, Enterprise Care Solutions Strategy, will identify, evaluate, and develop innovative solution approaches that drive value for customers and generate sales for Teladoc Health across HHS and Teladoc as a whole. The Senior Manager, Enterprise Care Solutions Strategy will enable and support sales efforts, working in conjunction with sales and marketing, and directly with clients; conduct market and product research; and support new/existing product development, evaluations and launches in close partnership with clients and cross-functional TDOC teams.

This position requires excellent understanding of the healthcare industry, from both the clinical and operations perspectives, with specific insight and experience in the areas of telehealth strategy, emerging technologies, and virtual care market drivers. The ideal candidate will possess extensive strategic, clinical and operational virtual care subject matter expertise, be highly collaborative, customer-centric, resourceful, and responsive working in a fast-paced and evolving digital health landscape for virtual care.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Sales Enablement & Support:

  • In conjunction with sales teams, support new and expansion sales efforts by providing tactical and strategic virtual care clinical and operational subject matter expertise in direct conversations with senior level stakeholders from existing and prospective clients.
  • Participate in and/or lead discussions with clients around strategies for implementing enterprise virtual care programs for maximum clinical and operational value.
  • Work with internal marketing partners to leverage healthcare industry knowledge and experience, available research, and market intelligence to create compelling value stories that target the functional, economic, and emotional needs of clients.
  • Collaborate with other SMEs, Marketing, and Sales teams to develop content and tools to promote virtual care use cases, products, and solutions, including: client case studies, white papers, webinars, videos, presentation decks, training programs, value stories, etc.
  • Represent Teladoc as a subject matter expert at trade shows, conferences, and other healthcare industry events.
  • Provide on-going guidance, mentoring, and training to sales, marketing, and other partner teams on: existing virtual care market clinical and operational environment and future trends; currently available, enhanced, and/or new Teladoc products and solutions; and tactics for engaging clients to identify and target available solutions to unique clinical/operational needs.

Market/Client Research & Strategic Analysis:

  • Collaborate with marketing, strategy, product and other internal teams to design, conduct, analyze, and present results of market and industry research in assigned areas of focus.
  • Develop new and/or improve upon existing methods to capture and utilize existing client needs, wants and desires to inform the solution development process.
  • Work directly with clients through voice of customer programs, user groups, interviews, sales engagements, et al., to gain insights that help Teladoc better understand industry needs, challenges, pain points, and virtual care strategies.
  • Identify customer needs and market trends impacting the adoption or expansion of virtual care programs across the client enterprise in the assigned areas of focus.
  • Understand unique buyer personas and purchase criteria by market segment.
  • Monitor and analyze product/solution performance metrics, at both a client and overall market level, to identify opportunities for value enhancement and business growth.
  • Leverage available research and intelligence to outline new virtual care use cases, develop ROI value propositions, and craft business case proposals for enhancing existing or developing new capabilities and solutions.
  • Understand and/or participate in business case development, discussion, and refinement for existing solution investments to support TDOC business growth and scalability.

Solution and Product Planning and Design Support:

  • Identify product/solution gaps that, if filled, would drive overall value and growth for individual clients and Teladoc.
  • Identify and propose ideas and strategies to fill gaps and/or introduce new products and services to support attainment of organizational strategic goals and objectives.
  • Provide clinical and operational subject matter expert feedback to internal leadership to inform future product and solution roadmap planning activities.
  • Participate as part of a team as a subject matter expert to identify business & clinical functional product requirements and ensure products and solutions are designed and delivered in a manner that meets the identified clinical, business, and operational requirements, that products support the attainment of organizational strategies and goals, and meet or exceed the needs of clients and the market as a whole.
  • Develop frameworks, identify participants, implement, and manage pre-release product and solution client evaluation and feedback programs with the goal of ensuring the usability and utility of new and enhanced offerings.
  • Collaborate with cross functional teams to develop and execute go-to-market plans for new/enhanced products and solutions for assigned market segments.

Qualifications Expected for Position

  • 5+ years of healthcare experience.
  • BA/BS in healthcare, business or related field required; advanced degree preferred.
  • Specific experience implementing and/or managing ambulatory virtual care programs.
  • Experience or advanced knowledge in both clinical and business operations preferred.
  • Strong interpersonal communication and relationship building skills.
  • Strong public speaking and written communication skills.
  • High attention to accuracy and detail.
  • Capacity to organize and analyze large amounts of information.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects, while prioritizing and maintaining focus.
  • Self-starter who can accomplish tasks without heavy supervision.
  • Comfortable working in a fast paced, dynamic environment.
  • Proficient with Microsoft Office.
  • Ability to travel up to 25% of the time.

The base salary range for this position is$125,000 - $135,000.In addition to a base salary, this position is eligible for a performance bonus and benefits (subject to eligibility requirements) listed hereTeladoc Health Benefits 2024.Total compensation is based on several factors including, but not limited to, type of position, location, education level, work experience, and certifications.This information is applicable for all full-time positions.
