NaphCare is hiring an experienced Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) just like you to join our team at the Lee County Jail located in Fort Myers, FL. Pay rates vary based on shift, site needs, and experience. Shifts and hours vary based on coverage needs and can be discussed upon interview.

Responsibilities

Responsibilities for Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA):

  • Assist with direct patient care procedures
  • Obtain patient history
  • Take Vital Signs
  • Prepare Charts
  • Assist with medical examinations
  • Perform routine procedures under stablished protocols (to include but not limited to phlebotomy, EKG's, dressing changes and wound cultures)
  • Provide routine clinical tasks
  • Perform routine blood drawing procedures
  • Take and document vital signs, height and weight, assist with PPDs and EKGs
  • Assist with examinations and/or treatments
  • Assist with patient hygiene, ambulation and dressing changes


Qualifications

Qualifications for Certified Nursing Assistants (CNA):

  • Current Certification as Certified Nursing Assistant in FL, required.
  • FL or National Certification for Certified Medical Assistant preferred
  • Normal physical requirements - standing, walking, sitting, lifting, squatting, etc.
  • High School Diploma or GED Certificate
  • Valid CPR Card
  • Minimum of 1-year clinical experience in a healthcare setting, preferably correctional healthcare=
