What you will do: The Assembly Technician will produce magnetic bearing assemblies and subassemblies, high speed electric motors and drive panels as well as other duties as assigned. How you will do it: * Maintain a safe working environment and a commitment to safety excellence. * Understand and comply with company policies, procedures, and instructions to ensure product quality, customer satisfaction, attainment of business goals, and environmental well-being. * Ability to work well with others in a team environment. * Utilize hand tools, epoxies, and adhesives to produce electro-mechanical subassemblies and assemblies according to verbal direction, work instructions and schematics. * Use machines and resources to perform various tasks such as heating, pressing and balancing parts and assemblies. * Ability to strip, crimp, solder and terminate wires per Synchrony and industry standards. * Perform electrical testing on components, subassemblies and assemblies. * Maintain a clean, safe, and orderly workplace.
