TSC is seeking a Radar Systems Test Engineer to support Test and Evaluation (T&E) group within the Navy's Program Executive Office, Integrated Warfare Systems, Above Water Sensors Directorate's (PEO IWS 2.0). This role provides technical and programmatic support to the AN/SPY-6 T&E Assistant Program Manager (APM). This will include involvement in collaborative Integrated Product Teams (IPT), test planning working groups, scenario working groups, exposure and interaction with hardware and software sub-systems, and related areas.

Typical tasks for the position include development and/or review or technical and programmatic T&E plans and documentation (e.g. T&E planning and strategies, T&E Master Plans, Test Plans, Test Procedures, Test Reports, Trouble Reports, Requirements Traceability Verification Matrices, Technical Review Action Plans, Summary Reports, Statements of Work, etc.), coordination of Subject Matter Expert (SME) reviews and comment adjudication of Contract Data Requirements Lists (CDRLs), and performance of test execution services in live testing (e.g. test execution lead, test data collection, target coordination, etc.). The candidate will be required to communicate effectively with technical SMEs, Principal Assistant Program Managers, APMs, and program T&E execution staff.

Qualifications:

  • 2+ years of experience in relevant Test & Evaluation, Systems Engineering, DoD Acquisition roles
  • BS degree in Electrical Engineering, Physics, Math, Computer Engineering, Mechanical Engineering or relevant Science Field
  • Experience in developing and reviewing Test Plans and Procedures and DoD Test Related documents
  • Willingness to work on blend of technical and programmatic tasks
  • Strong written and oral communication skills
  • U.S. Citizenship required. Applicants selected will be subject to a Government Security Investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information
  • Active DOD SECRET security clearance.

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Highly desired: Practical experience working in at least one aspect of planning for and/or conducting test events.
  • Experience working in an acquisition program office environment with documentation, protocols formats, and deadlines.
  • Experience with integration and operational testing of US Navy combat systems and/or radar systems.
