The Division of Psychiatry at UMass Memorial Health is looking for a dedicated Nurse Practitioner to become part of our expanding team.

Major Responsibilities:

• Ability to establish working relationships with other human service providers
• Conducts Mental health evaluations on all patients as needed, and provides appropriate care interventions
• Works with the treatment team to analyze and interpret observations of patient's behavior with information gathered about patient
• Fully prepared to present a patient care case in court

Additional Details:

• Full-Time position with remote opportunity one day per week
• Hospital-based outpatient setting

Department Specific Responsibilities:

• Outpatient child and adolescent psychiatric consultation, evaluation, and ongoing psychiatric management for the Center for Autism and Neurodevelopmental Disorders (CANDO) and Massachusetts Child Psychiatry Access Program (MCPAP).

Required:

• Three years of advanced clinical practice experience in child and adolescent psychiatric settings

Preferred/recommended:

• Advanced clinical practice experience in child and adolescent psychiatric outpatient settings conducting diagnostic evaluations and providing psychiatric medication management
• Experience working with pediatric and adult patients with neurodevelopmental disabilities
• Experience working in integrated Primary Care - Behavioral Health settings
