This position will study targeted therapy for breast cancer growth and metastasis. Ongoing research projects in the laboratory include the study of growth factor signaling in regulating growth and metastasis of breast cancer, use of animal models to study the effect of signaling inhibitors and natural killer cell based drugs on biology and metastasis of breast cancer and in vivo imaging to monitor response to targeted therapies. Lab administration and maintenance - 15%: General lab maintenance including lab equipment, ordering laboratory chemicals and supplies, making solutions, hazardous waste management, stocking of lab & tissue culture, routine lab upkeep; preparing research summaries. Orient and Train - 5%: Assist in the training of incoming lab members, including undergraduate students and maintain lab safety and training records. Qualifications
