Organizational Unit Overview
The Office of Undergraduate Admissions is the primary point of contact for a traditional first year student, transfer, or non-traditional adult student seeking admission to East Carolina University. The office is responsible for identifying and recruiting potential applicants with outstanding academic ability and potential and assisting in the application process to completion.
Job Duties
Data Integrity/Verification: 50%

  • Work off suspended records in the Banner form SRIPREL by identifying common matching factors between records and either merging two accounts or creating new records.
  • Assist with managing Team Dynamix support ticket system.
  • Assist with responding to and resolving student account situations e-mailed to Ugops@ecu.edu by the admissions staff.
  • Help with managing duplicate records via Cloud Dingo.
  • Use Nolij software to assist with importing electronic transcripts from CFNC.


Office Technology: 30%

  • Assist with office technology support. This may include software updates, printer/scanner maintenance, and additional tech support. Will maintain the department computer and support technology (iPad, laptops, projectors, etc.) resources.
  • Utilize problem solving skills by identifying problems and issues that occur within the admissions application process. Critical thinking and problem solving for potential solutions or improved functionality of the admissions process.

Information/Records Administration: 20%

  • Assist with processing mail, which includes assisting with printing outgoing letters and maintaining letter templates. Backup Mail Operations by downloading varying electronic transcripts.
  • Other duties as assigned.

This position is contingent upon available funding.
