In March 2024, Isometric was acquired by Nissha Medical Technologies (NMT), a global Contract Design/Development Manufacturing Organization. NMT's expertise in the design and development of endoscopic devices, combined with Isometric's micro-molding capabilities, have the potential to redefine the realm of minimally invasive surgical instruments and surgical robotics. Together, we aim to address the changing demands of medical devices by enhancing component miniaturization and improving the maneuverability of small and precision components, ultimately advancing medical efficiency.

It's an exciting time to join our team, and we're hiring for a Production Supervisor - 1st shift. This role will collaborate with the Operations Manager in overseeing employees and the daily production of micro molding injection processing areas to ensure volume, cost, safety, quality, and delivery are achieved in accordance with ISO13485 standards. The hours for this position are Monday-Friday, 7:00AM-4:00PM.

Essential Functions and Responsibilities:



  • Supervises the daily activities of the production area to ensure standards are achieved
  • Coordinates work schedules, staffing requirements, and production sequences to maximize productivity
  • Monitors production activity, identifies process problems, troubleshoots causes and develops solutions
  • Delivers or coordinates staff training including onboarding new employees
  • Provides ongoing equipment safety training to staff and ensures all equipment malfunctions are reported to Facilities
  • Acts as an active participant in the ISO13485 continuous improvement initiatives, develops work instructions and procedures. Ensures staff are trained and able to demonstrate procedural ability, and provide additional retraining as needed in a timely manner
  • Proactively collaborates with other departments to ensure timely delivery of quality product
  • Provides processing technical assistance to Process Technicians and Operators


Education and/or Experience:



  • High School Diploma required; Associate's Degree in a related technical field preferred
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in plastic injection molding, and 2 years' supervisory experience in a manufacturing environment required
  • Working knowledge and experience with ERP systems, preferably Epicor
  • Working knowledge of ISO13485 requirements preferred
  • Strong leadership, training, and coaching ability
  • Basic computer proficiency in Microsoft office products; Outlook, Teams, Excel, Word
  • Excellent attention to detail, accuracy, and organizational skills
  • Model Isometric's core competencies and support continuous improvement efforts
  • Other duties as assigned
