This position supports the development and execution of Community Health Needs Assessments (CHNAs) and implementation plans, ensuring compliance with corporate policies and IRS regulatory guidelines. The specialist works collaboratively with internal and external stakeholders to enhance community health outreach efforts, with a particular emphasis on underserved populations. Additionally, this role is responsible for accurately reporting community benefit activities, leveraging data to support strategic initiatives, and evaluating the impact of community health programs. RequirementsEducation: Bachelors degree in Public Health, Health Administration, Social Work, or a related field. Masters degree preferred. Experience: 2-5 years in public health, healthcare, or community health settings, focusing on addressing health disparities, social determinants of health, or underserved populations. Certification: None License: None Other: Must have excellent oral and written communication, organizational, interpersonal and customer relations skills. Must be proficient in Microsoft Office Suite including excel and PowerPoint. Must be a team player, effectively interacting with all types of people from c-suite executives to children.
