Job Description

Assists the Educational Director in directing the operation of the School of Nurse Anesthesia. Position is half-time education and half-time clinical. Serves as Educational Director in the Director's absence. Actively participated in program modifications and upgrades. Directs faculty in implementation of curriculum delivery. Participates in selection nd evaluation of all nurse anesthesia students.

Minimum Requirements
  • Master's Degree in Nursing, Doctoral degree required by 2018
  • Certification as a Certified Registered Nurse Anesthetist (CRNA) required
  • Verbal and written communication skills required to foster relations between patients, students, staff, and related departments
  • Skilled in all aspects of anesthesia techniques with the ability to supervise and instruct students
  • Current Missouri licensure and advanced practice license
  • Current BLS, ACLS and PALS certifications, and must be maintain in a current status.
Preferred Qualifications
  • Doctoral degree in Nursing (required by 2018)
  • Experience in curriculum development and delivery in a school of higher education
