Responsibilities
St. Louis Behavioral Medicine Institute offers a clinical practicum in mental health. All practicum are nine-month training experiences. The approximate start date is subject to some variation based on the student's academic schedule. Practicum experiences are typically 9-10 hours per week. We do not offer a three-month or one-semester practicum. Center for Anxiety and OCD-Related Disorders (COARD): Students are assigned to the Intermediate Care Program (ICP), a nationally recognized program providing multidisciplinary care, such as intensive cognitive and behavioral treatments, to patients with complex or refractory disorders. Students will typically have the opportunity to work with a variety of problems, including obsessive-compulsive disorder, panic disorder and agoraphobia, social phobia, trauma-related disorders, depression and more. Practicum student application deadline for 2025-2026 training year is February 1, 2025. Qualifications
