Position Summary The College of Arts & Science is seeking a dedicated Associate Director, Academic Support. The Associate Director leads college-wide efforts to coordinate and implement comprehensive support programs for students facing academic difficulty who may be at risk of not retaining, persisting, or graduating from the College of Arts and Science (CAS). This includes the leadership CAS: Back on Track Program, a one-credit course for students facing academic difficulty taught by adjunct faculty. Provide staff from across the College with recommendations, guidance, and best practices to enhance their efforts to support students with academic performance concerns. Drive college-wide efforts to ensure cohesive, proactive approaches to academic support by collaborating with academic, administrative, and support units, aligning these initiatives with the College's broader student success goals. Create a data-informed and faculty-engaged portfolio of supplemental instruction (SI) offerings in the University Learning Center (ULC), including designing supplemental instruction methodology and hiring, training, and supervising undergraduate SI leaders. Qualifications Required Education: Additional Information In compliance with NYC's Pay Transparency Act, the annual base salary range for this position is USD $75,000.00 to USD $85,000.00. New York University considers factors such as (but not limited to) scope and responsibilities of the position, candidate's work experience, education/training, key skills, internal peer equity, as well as, market and organizational considerations when extending an offer.
